Anthony C. Stanley age 95, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024. Mr. Stanley was born February 11, 1929 to Monroe and Laura Caudill Stanley. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by his daughter, Adina Rose Stanley; three brothers, Cline Stanley, Clyde Stanley and infant brother William.

Survivors include two sons, Cliff Stanley and wife Donna of Glade Springs, Virginia,  Jeff Stanley and wife Kim of Winchester, Virginia; Nell Norton,  the mother of his children, of Bristol, Virginia; sisters, Christine Kohr of Norton, Virginia and Royal Ines Salyers of Coeburn, Virginia; a host of nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver, Andy Kennedy.

Graveside services will be Sunday, August 11th, 2 pm at Monroe Stanley Cemetery, Caney Ridge, with Kyle Rose officiating.   Pallbearers will be family friends.
