Beatrice Anne Boyd, 56, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 26, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Boyd was a graduate of Ervinton High School class of 1976, employee of Red Onion Correctional Facility, and a member of Tarpon Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Booker and Ruby Cantrell Beavers; brother, Robert Booker Beavers; sister, Shirley Mary Beavers; grandson, Austin Boyd; nephews, Derek and Nathianel Beavers. Survivors include husband, Scott Boyd of Clintwood, VA; sons, Alex Boyd and wife Jessica of Clintwood, VA; Sammy Boyd of Clinchco, VA; daughter, Stephanie Salyers of Clintwood, VA; grandchildren, Chase Baker, Jeremiah Boyd ,and Kylee Boyd; sister, Elsa Johnson and husband Duane; sister in law, Tammy Beavers; niece and nephew Emily and Matthew Beavers; dear aunts, Lorine Cantrell, and Joyce Cantrell; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, March 2, 2015 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Vitatoe officiating. Burial will follow in the Boyd Family Cemetery Neely Ridge Road. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Visitation will take place starting at 5:00 PM Sunday, March 1, 2015 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel where a service will be held at 7:00 PM.
