Anna Lee Bise Stanley, 86, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a loving mother and grandmother to all.

She is preceded in death by parents, James and Delphia Bise; beloved husband, Ralph Stanley; brothers, Roy, Clinton, and Bob Bise; sisers, Beulah McCowan, and Mildred Mullins.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Pam Stanley of Clintwood; grandsons, Grant and Patrick Stanley of Clintwood; granddaughter Amanda Stanley and her Fiancé Greg Tinsman; special nieces, Linda and Eddie Ramey, and Lousie Vanover of Clintwood; nephew, Dennie and Judy Vanover; sister-in-law Thelma and Kedrick Chambers of Front Royal; a very special great-grandson, Liahm Stanley, who was the apple of her eye; and a host of other family and friends.

The Family would like to send a special thanks to all caregivers.

Funeral services for Anna Lee Stanley will be conducted at 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Glenn Sluss and Lynn Vanover officiating. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM Wednesday until time of service. Graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Peuther Chapel Cemetery Caney Ride. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
