Alger "Super" Keith age 86 passed away Friday Nov. 15, 2019 Cleveland, TN. Where he was resided and cared for by his daughter. Born and lived in Dickenson County Virginia most of his life, retiring from coal mining. He worked many years in the town of Clintwood with Esso Station. He was of the Freewill Baptist Faith, loving father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents Rufus and Maxie Keith, his wife Eva Keith, along with his brothers Quinten, Charlie and Harold, one sister Mary Jean Compton.
Survivors include his daughter Pam Dixon and husband Don, Cleveland, TN. His grandchildren Nathan Mullins and Shelley of Clinchco, VA., Kela Harris, April Salazar of Cleveland, TN. Eric Dixon, Ohio. Great Grandchildren; Hunter Mullinax, Dalton Mullins, Hannah Wright, Zoe Mullins, Keira Humphrey and Zamorah Salazar and along with several nieces and nephews and host of other relatives.
Funeral Services for Alger "Super" Keith will be conducted at 1PM Monday Nov. 18, 2019 at Rachel's Chapel Church with Lester Mullins and Gary Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Keith and Dotson Family Cemetery, Rachel's Chapel Road Coeburn, VA. Pallbearers will be Randy Hileman, Scott Depriest, Rick Kay, R.C. Keith, Dewayne Keith, Hunter Mullinax and Kester Keith. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5-7 PM at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with a song service at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers the family wishes and contributions be made to any Alzheimer research charity.
