Aleda Ethel Adams passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Fairfax County and later moved to Pound, Virginia. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed painting, sewing and thrifting

Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Adams; husband, Donald Adams; granddaughter, Samantha Adams; two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include four sons, Donald J. Adams and Missy of Pound, James N. Adams of Pound, Paul D. Adams and Kimberly of Clintwood, and Shane A. Adams and Amy of Pound; six grandchildren, Carrie Adams,  Alyssa Adams, Caitlin Adams Lee, Allie Adams, Megan Adams and D.J. Adams; step-granddaughter, Cheyenne Yates and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends Thursday, December 3 ^rd at 11 am in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Services will begin at Noon with Billy Mullins and Elder Earl Dean Yates officiating. Burial will follow in the Levi Cantrell Cemetery, Pound, Virginia. Pallbearers are Austin Addington, Ray Gilbert, Lee Johnson, Tony Mullins, Brody Clemons and D.J. Adams.
