Agnes Pearl Greene Hall age 94, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Mrs. Hall was born July 23, 1920. She was a homemaker and lived all her life in Dickenson County. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, James Calvin and Alafair Barton Fleming; husbands, Gallie Lee Greene and Melvin Hall; daughter, Lola Jean Tiller; son, Paul Mitchell Greene; sisters, Frances Pugh, Goldie Large and Gertrude Hess; brother, Stanford Fleming; half sisters, Minerva French, Hattie Clonts, Maggie Deloach, and Gracie Hill; half brothers, Richard Fleming, Phillip Fleming, Emory Fleming, Ranel Withrow, Fred Withrow and Jayhue Barton; eleven grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Survivors include six sons, Buddy Lee Greene of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Gallie Greene, Jr. and wife Susie of Lebanon, Virginia, Jerry Mack Greene, Cecil Wayne Greene, James Greene and wife Kim and adopted son Anthony Greene all of Clintwood; eight daughters, Irene Stanley of Haysi, Goldie Faye Harvey of Birchleaf, Joann Sullivan and husband Samuel of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Stella Smith and husband Edwin of Burr Hill, Virginia, Lucille Dotson and husband Earl of Cleveland, Virginia, Elizabeth Bowman and husband Larry of Clintwood, Nancy Keys and husband Joe of Limestone, Tennessee, Sharon Scott and husband David of Vansant, Virginia; one sister, Mildred Estep of Lexington, Ohio; 29 grandchildren, 61 great- grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren on the way. Funeral services for Agnes Greene Hall will be conducted at 12:00 noon Saturday May 2, 2015 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Hill officiating. Burial will follow at the J.C. Fleming Cemetery Hill Ridge Community. Pallbearers will be grandsons. The family will receive friends Friday evening at the Clintwood Funeral Home from 5-8 PM.
