Dollie Rose age 91 passed away Friday June 18, 2010 at the Indian Path Medical Center, Kingsport, TN.
She was a born March 2, 1919 the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patton Rose, a life resident of Dickenson County, a member of the Rose-Hill Church and of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Nerman Rose, a son Lail Rose along with three brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Rose worked to make sure the Big Caney Water project was completed for many of Dickenson County residents to have clean drinking water.

She is survived by one grandson Timothy Rose, Clintwood, one sister Nannie Seviert, Prater, VA. One brother-in-law Stanford Rose, Clintwood, several nieces and nephews along with host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Dollie Rose will conducted at 11:00 AM Monday June 21, 2010 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Elders Willie Cantrell and Trinkle Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at the Nerman Rose Cemetery in the Rose Ridge community. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends after 6 PM Sunday evening at the Clintwood Funeral Home with a song service at 7 PM.
