Biography

Sonya Lee Sexton age 42 passed away Wed. Feb 24,at her home in Clinchco. She was a life long resident of Clinchco and a graduate of Ervinton High School. She was a former employee of Food City. She is preceded in death by her father Talt Wolford and one brother Randy Wolford. Sonya was known to be a good neighbor and friend to all in her community.

Survivors include her husband Mike Sexton, her mother Minnie B. Wolford all of Clinchco, VA. One son Daniel Carico of Clintwood, one daughter Natasha Leann Sexton of Clinchco. Three brothers Dennis Wolford of Clinchco, Grant Fullen and Von Fullen of Clintwood, VA. One sister Monica Boyd and husband Freddy of Clinchco. One special nephew Trevor Boyd along with several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services for Sonya Lee Sexton will be conducted 1:00 PM Sat. Feb. 27, 2010 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Freddy Boyd, Brother Robert Ward and Trevor Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at the Hill Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Sexton, Daniel Carico, Grant Fullen, Von Fullen, Mathew Mullins and Freddy Boyd. The family will receive friends after 12:00 Sat. afternoon at the Clintwood Funeral Home.
